SYMAGA offers a wide range of silos, with capacities of between 10 tonnes and 12,000 tonnes.

The various quality controls to which the material is submitted, both at reception and in all the phases of the production process, enable us to ensure the quality of the product up to the moment of delivery.

Our silos for concrete bases, either flat or conical, are used for the prolonged storage of large quantities of grain, seed and granulated products.

Our wide range of models includes silos of from 4.60 m. in diameter and 5.87 m. in height to 32.08 m. in diameter and 27.34 m. in height, which can be calculated under the ANSI/ASAE EP 422 or DIN 1055 05/87 standard, and always come with high quality S350GD, 450 gr/m2 galvanization.

The silos can be supplied with all types of accessories, such as access ladders, inspection hatch in roof or cylinder, handrails, supports, temperature sensors, sweepers, etc.

Self-supporting roofs with 30º gradient, permitting the optimization of storage capacity through adaptation to the slope of the silo.

Composed of specially arranged trapezoid sections which give it greater airtightness and act as girders.

Depending on the diameter of the silo and of the loads supported by the roof, they can be supplied with or without structure, without this affecting their working capacity.

On order, we supply the roof in pre-lacquered steel and the sealing of the roof to the body of the silo.

Our silos are made from “Senzimir” S350GD, 450 gr/m2, electrolytically galvanized corrugated steel sheets. The useful size of the same is 1,140 mm. by 2,400 mm., with a 14 x 76 mm. corrugation.

All the joints between the sheets are screwed and sealed with high quality screws and putty, guaranteeing airtightness.

The hopper slope could be of 45º or 60º, and with outlet of 400 mm. or 1500 mm., for optimizing the outlet of the products that, due to their density, have worse fluency.

The hopper is composed by trapezoidal sectors of a high quality galvanization S350GD, of 450 gr/m2.

The friction stiffeners which are transmitted to the walls of the silo are supported by vertical reinforcements, heat galvanized for cold forming, with a steel quality of S350GD and a galvanization cover of 450 gr. of zinc per m2.

In models of a certain size up, wind rings are incorporated. These provide rigidity to the wall circumference and prevent denting of the walls by wind action.

All screws comply with DIN regulations and have 8.8 quality, guarantying high hardness. Moreover, all screws are bi-chromated, offering great resistance to corrosion.

The neoprene washers and sealing putty guarantee the airtightness of the silo.
