International trade fairs, key drivers of Symaga’s internationalisation

Our founder, Alfonso Garrido, always had in mind to manufacture and sell beyond our borders. His entrepreneurial vision led him to participate in international trade fairs from the early years of the company, where he detected a growing global demand for industrial silos. This discovery marked a turning point in the company’s history, orienting its strategy towards export and the mechanization of production.

Aware of the competitiveness of the international market, he began to mechanize the production processes. From its early years, Symaga invested in the latest manufacturing technology. This initial impetus led to constant growth and investment in the automation of manufacturing and the recruitment of qualified professionals.

Participation in trade fairs such as FIMA, SIMA, SITEVI, Agritechnica and FIGAP allowed Symaga to present a silo manufactured with the latest technology. These events have not only facilitated commercial expansion and entry into new markets, but have also allowed us to strengthen ties with customers and gain first-hand knowledge of the emerging needs of the sector.

Almost four decades later, internationalisation continues to be one of the company’s strategic pillars. The evolution of global demand has continued to drive the constant modernisation of our facilities, which now operate with cutting-edge technology, and has reinforced our commitment to exporting, with an export ratio currently exceeding 90%.

International trade fairs remain a key driver of our expansion strategy. Today, Symaga maintains an active presence at the main events in the sector, convinced that these meetings are key to continuing to innovate, grow and offer reliable storage solutions worldwide.
