In line with our corporate mission ‘Helping to feed the world’, Symaga allocates its annual donation to Chefs For Gaza, the campaign run by the NGO World Central Kitchen and promoted by chef José Andrés, whose aim is to provide daily food to the civilian population of Gaza. https://wck.org/relief/chefs-for-gaza/
Since October 2023, Chefs For Gaza has distributed more than 150 million meals in northern Gaza, including hot meals, water and bread, even under blockade conditions, thanks to a team committed to meeting extreme needs. With this contribution to WCK, Symaga reaffirms its social responsibility plan, which prioritises support for communities without access to decent food.
At the local level, this year we have collaborated with the Aspana association, purchasing a Christmas gift for our Symaga team. The Association for People with Intellectual Disabilities has as its main objective to defend the rights and improve the quality of life of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in Castilla-La Mancha, guided by the principles of inclusion, social integration and normalisation.
