SYMAGA was created in 1985 by a group of professionals, expert in the agriculture and livestock sector, under the direction of the present chairman.
The manufacturing capacity was very limited at that time, in comparison with today’s capacity. For example, at that time, it took 5 days to make a farm type silo, and it was made almost manually, and today, 100 of these silos are made in a single day, and in a totally automatic way.
After its creation, SYMAGA began by selling its products in Spain, and it was in 1988 when it started to expand outside Spain, first in Europe and South America, and later in the rest of the world.
Because the geographical location of SYMAGA is in the middle of the most extensive wine-growing region of Spain, in 1999, SYMAGA began to develop its agricultural line, with the manufacture of posts for vine arbours and vineyard machinery.
With such a wide range of products being manufactured, in 2002, SYMAGA decided to make a clear distinction between four lines of, independent but at the same time interrelated, products, making it easier for clients to identify the products and recognize their areas of interest. These lines go under the names of symasil, symagan, symagri and symaind.
SYMAGA is currently located on a 150,000 m2 site and has 30,000 m2 of buildings for production and storage. It has a steel transforming capacity of 140,000 tonnes a year, and its products are present in more than 30 countries.
