Driving Operational Efficiency with the Third Digital Transformation Plan

Following the implementation of the SGA and the MES, Symaga continues to advance its digitalisation process with the Third Digital Transformation Plan.

This new plan focuses on five projects currently under development, aimed at improving operational efficiency and decision-making across the organisation.

Production Planner

An APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) software package that will optimise manufacturing by integrating various systems: ERP, MES, Nesting and APS. This tool will support the manufacturing department in carrying out advanced production planning, optimising the use of available resources.

Quotation Configurator

A new tool that will streamline the preparation of commercial proposals, enabling the Sales department to create quotations more quickly and accurately whilst enhancing the company’s image.

Visual Factory

The installation of a network of screens on the shop floor will allow real-time visualisation of production status and its progress against set targets, providing greater transparency and alignment in the factory’s operations.

Statistical data

52 performance indicators will be implemented to analyse and improve the internal operations of all departments, driving management that is more firmly grounded in real data.

Technological infrastructure

In parallel, plans are also underway for the renewal of the hardware infrastructure, with various objectives: to improve performance, increase availability and reliability, and boost the company’s technological capacity.
